COMPOSICION:
Ácido Tióctico 0,5 g.
Excipientes c.s.p. 100 ml.
PRESENTACION: Frasco ampolla conteniendo 100 y 250 ml.
INDICACIONES: Disfunciones hepáticas y sus manifestaciones, como ser intoxicaciones alimentarias, alteraciones de los valores séricos de bilirrubina y GOT. Anorexia. Stress.
Está ampliamente comprobado por la bibliografía disponible que el ácido tióctico es un excelente protector hepático y desintoxicante, además de su propiedad de antioxidante, por su propiedad de captar radicales libres.
ADMINISTRACION: Vía endovenosa lenta.
DOSIFICACION: Para equinos de tamaño normal, 20 a 25 ml. por día. Dado que el ácido tióctico carece de toxicidad, esta dosificación puede ser aumentada según el criterio del profesional actuante.
ADVERTENCIAS, CONTRAINDICACIONES Y RESTRICCIONES DE USO: A las dosis indicadas no se conocen efectos colaterales. No usar en animales hipersensibles a esta droga. No mezclar con otros medicamentos en la misma jeringa. Utilizar aguja y jeringa estéril y realizar una adecuada antisepsia en el lugar de aplicación.
Destinado a equinos deportivos. No administrar a animales cuyo destino final pudiera ser el consumo alimentario humano.
Conservar entre 5 y 25°C al abrigo de la luz solar directa y la humedad.

INDICATIONS: Liver dysfunctions and their manifestations, like food poisoning, alterations of bilirubin serum values and TGO levels. Anorexia.Stress. It has been widely proved in the available bibliography that the thioctic acid is an excellent liver protector and detoxifier, in addition to its antioxidant property, due to its capability of capturing free radicals.
ADMINISTRATION: Slow intravenous route.
To be used in sport horses. It must not be administered to horses that might be used for human food consumption.
DOSAGE: For regular size horses, 20 to 40 mL per day. Since thioctic acid has no toxicity, this dosage can be increased, according to the acting professional’s criteria.
WARNINGS, CONTRAINDICATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS OF USE: No side effects have shown with the indicated doses. Do not use in animals with hypersensitivity to this drug. Do not combine with other drugs in the same syringe. Use sterile syringe and carry out an appropriate asepsis on the application site.
