Amonio cloruro 1,50 g.
Dexametasona 21 fosfato 0,04g.
Etanol 96% .7ml.
Fenol 0,50g.
Agua destilada c.s.p. 100ml
PRESENTACION:
Frasco ampolla conteniendo 100 ml.
INDICACIONES: Está destinado al alivio del dolor y la inflamación muscular, indicado en miositis, contracturas musculares, mialgias, etc. Su efecto dura entre 1 y 2 semanas, y comienza a ser notable aproximadamente a las 2 horas de inyectado. Está diseñado para ser aplicado en grandes grupos musculares, como la paleta, grupa, dorso-lomo, etc. Puede usarse puro, o según el criterio del profesional actuante, asociarse con: antibióticos, anestésicos locales, etc. Si se combina o se diluye, es conveniente que la concentración del cloruro de amonio no sea inferior al 0,75%.
DOSIFICACION: La dosis a aplicar depende del tamaño de la zona a tratar. Usualmente serán suficientes 100 ml. en cada paleta o grupa.. Estas cantidades pueden ser modificadas según el criterio del Profesional actuante. Se aconseja la aplicación de 5 cc. en cada punto de inyección, retirando la aguja a la vez que se inyecta.
VIA DE ADMINISTRACION: Exclusivamente intramuscular. (infiltraciones)
INCOMPATIBILIDADES, ADVERTENCIAS Y CONTRAINDICACIONES:
No se conocen incompatibilidades por tratamientos paralelos. No debe mezclarse en la misma jeringa con narcóticos analgésicos ni con otras drogas que provoquen la precipitación del principio activo. No debe inyectarse por otra vía que no sea la intramuscular. Su uso está contraindicado cuando la lesión a tratar pueda agravarse (miositis aguda, desgarros musculares recientes) o cuando su aplicación indique riesgo para el animal o el jinete. No usar en tejidos con inflamación aguda. Es incompatible con álcalis, carbonatos y sales de plata y plomo. No usar en animales hipersensibles a algunos de los componentes de la fórmula ni en aquellos destinados al consumo humano.
EFECTOS GENERALES Y/O LOCALES: En algunos casos puede aparecer escozor, sudoración o signos de intranquilidad, que desaparecen en 5 a 10 minutos. En muy raras ocasiones, luego de la infiltración los animales tratados presentan dolor y dificultad ambulatoria por 2 a 3 horas. A las dosis indicadas, el producto es totalmente atóxico.
CONSIDERACIONES: En la práctica clínica del equino deportivo es muy frecuente el hallazgo de lesiones crónicas dolorosas que interfieren en el entrenamiento, y su tratamiento, sin agravar la lesión original, permite la continuación de las prácticas deportivas, mientras se controla la evolución o se aplica el tratamiento específico de la lesión primaria.

INDICATIONS: It is intended for pain relief and muscle inflammation, indicated for myositis, muscle contractions, myalgia, etc. Its effect can last between 1 and 2 weeks, and it can be perceived approximately 2 hours after injected. It is designed to be applied in big muscle groups, such as the shoulder, croup, back-loin, etc. It can be used in its pure form or it can be associated with antibiotics, local anesthetic, etc., according to the acting professional’s criteria. If combined or diluted, the ammonium chloride’s concentration should not be lower than 0.75 %.
DOSAGE: The dose to be applied depends on the size of the area to be treated. Usually, 100 mL in each shoulder or croup will be enough. These quantities may be modified according to the acting professional’s criteria. The recommendation is to apply 5 mL in each injection site, removing the needle at the same time it is injected.
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION: Intramuscular only (infiltrations).
INCOMPATIBILITIES,WARNINGS AND CONTRAINDICATIONS:
No incompatibilities were detected due to parallel treatments. It must not be mixed in the same syringe with analgesic narcotics or other drugs that may cause precipitation of the active principle. It must not be injected other than by the intramuscular route. Its use is contraindicated when the lesion to be treated may get worse (acute myositis, recent muscle tears) or when the application indicates risk for the animal or the horseman. Do not use in tissues showing acute inflammation or infection. It is not compatible with alkali, carbonates and silver, and lead salts. Do not use in animals that are hypersensitive to any component of the formula, or in those for human consumption.
GENERAL AND/OR LOCAL EFFECTS: In some cases, there may be stinging, sweating or signs of uneasiness that will disappear in 5 to10 minutes. Very seldom, after the infiltration, the animals treated show pain and difficulty to walk for 2 to 3 hours. With the indicated doses, it is a fully non-toxic product.
CONSIDERATIONS: In the clinical practice of the sport horse, painful chronic lesions that interfere with training are frequently found, and their treatment, without worsening the original lesion, enables the continuity of the sport practice, while the evolution is supervised or the specific treatment for the primary lesion is applied.
